Resume objective/summary writing help?
Need help writing a objective and/or a summary for my husband's resume. He's worked in a plant for 5 1/2 years and worked fast food for 4 years and retail for 3 months. He recently lost his job and wants a clerical position. Advice please and thank you.

Sorry to hear your husband lost his job. His objective / summary section should really be skills-driven. if he's looking for a clerical position he would want to make sure to include typing speed, known software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.), customer service, issue investigation & resolution skills, etc. It's really subjective and depends on his actual skills and experience...
