What age is considered too old for trick-or-treating?

typically you are too old at 16. You can push the envelope at the last few years of high school by wearing mask and going out late, but once you turn 18 you are too old and are supposed to go to those slutty halloween parties or haunted houses instead

Right around 16. You get the, "Aren't you a little bit big/old to be trick or treating?" line about that time. Besides, at 16 you should have a drivers license. Why would you want to walk house to house all night when you could be out driving around with friends or going to a Halloween party?

well im 13 and im going trick or treating tonight with my friends! but i only went because otherwise i would be a bit left out. this is my last year going trick or treating........ so maybe around 14-16ish?

I'm 33 and I still do it. Nah, I stopped when I was about 13 I think.
