Correct punctuation for this sentence is? "Jane and her husband John live in Chicago with their cat Herman"?

I am wondering if either a comma before John and after John is correct.

Or is a comma before John the only one needed?

    Commas are like turn signals: you use them to clarify your intentions, not because they are required.
