Politics is just nuts. Stupid seems to be the rule, with very few exceptions.

R&S spans the range from stupid to smart, with everything in between. It's crazy, and that is why it is great.

History is more intellectual, and functions more in the question-answer format as this site was originally intended. I was a TC there for awhile, when I first came to Y!A. But there isn't much real and interesting discussion there, mostly just kids too lazy to do their own homework.

No. I see this quote as an excuse for stupidity. However it is safe to say human beings are highly susceptible to the ignorance and stupidity that plays a large role in society today. With that being said, ignorance and stupidity is not so simple to contain because if common sense is not used to combat this than it becomes contagious!

what does history teach? what do you learn from the R&S category? how do know- become aware, with the politics section.
