What statistical test do I use?

Basically I have the muscle lenght of 5 individuals in one column, and the threshold voltage required to accomplish a muscle contraction in those individuals on the other.

I want to see if there is a correlation between muscle length and the treshold voltage required. What statistical test would I use for that?

Thank you in advanced.

If you can assume that the muscle length and threshold voltage follow a bivariate

normal distribution then calculate the Pearson correlation coefficient.

You can also carry out a test of significance of the value.

HOWEVER, the sample size of 5 is rather small to give convincing results.
