Why does windows suck so bad?
I have spent 1/2 an hour searching for Internet Explorer on my lap top. I had a problem with firefox (my first problem in a year) and so i wanted to uninstall and reinstall it, so I went looking for IE. I couldn't find it so I reinstalled. No shortcut appeared, nor did it appear on my start page/all programs list. I have spent 1/2 hour searching for help. Installed a "fix it" program that did nothing and still can't find the program I installed. I did get a "run" address so i can get on, but come on....these"leaders" in the industry can't make this a simple process?
Mac, here I come, arms wide open and willing to relinquish my free will in order toi escape the evil clutches of window operating systems

It's not in Microsoft's nature to build products that just work or are simple to use. They're built for people who have at least an undergraduate degree in Information Technology.
You should totally get a Mac. You won't regret it. It's worth every dime. Ignore all the uneducated things Windows users have to say against Macs and Apple products in general.

Come over the Mac fold. After a short time you will wonder why it took you so long. Leave the Windows users to their stockholm syndrome. Get a Mac and get your life back.

Navigate to this directory:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
You should see the icon for IE there, you will need to right click on this and click create shortcut. Once this is done drag the shortcut to your desktop and you will be good to go!
I hope this helps.

Sounds like operator error. I have never had a problem with Windows. Why didn't you just do a quick search of the whole computer (start menu>computer>search) and make a shortcut on the desktop?

I prefer PC Windows.
you just don't know what to do.
Control panel, uninstall programs, find firefox, uninstall.
I have installed and re-installed many programs, it isn't such a big deal. When you get that mac your going to die lol, much more complicated.

Windows only sucks for people who do not know how to use it, like you.
Mac only sucks for people who do not know how to use computers, like you.
You will see no improvement if you switch to Mac because of your knowledge.
