Does OWS have a specific reason for their protest or a specific goal in mind or is it a publicity stunt?

They want Socialism, and One World Order. They better be careful what they pray for, there is no way they could get by with their BS under either of those scenarios.

OWS ofcoz its not a publicity stunt, publicity stunt are carried away by people who are attentention seakers and they for the attention they do fair/unfair practices so that their personal goals are met. But as far as everyone knows OWS is not the child of any one person or group.As we all know it dont even have a solid org. behind it to guide its movement.But in democracy the public holds the supreme right ,and thus its the outburst of the common public who is been betrayed by the govt, and its economical policies tht america is now in soverign debt crises, banks are failing, the S&P has degraded the us economy, and employment has stangled the " COMMON MAN"..common man, they are now united to fight against the govt for their failure in every field.

There is no one specific goal, rather there are many issues being brought to the table by a very diverse group of people. If you are looking for one specific goal, it is to get control of gummyment back in the hands of the people. The US has tried to instill democracy in every corner of the world, yet ignores "by the people, for the people" in its own country.

All political demonstrations are publicity stunts designed to garner public support. Yes they have specific reasons, and if they had the votes in Congress to do something, they would not need to demonstrate.

The problem with the OWS is that they have no leadership and no specific agenda. The protests are nothing but chaos. It appears to me somewhat of a political 'Woodstock.'

They want their country back, back from corrupt corporations and their bought-out politicians and judges. And they will get back the American dream, the idea that even you could work hard, live a comfortable life, and eventually retire. .
