1024 kilobyes in 1 megabyte (im just gonna round 1024 to 1000 for easiness sake)

    1000 megabyes is 1 GB

a typical jpeg picture file will be around 50-200 kilobyes again for easiness we will say 100 kilobytes

    so 10 pics every megabyte

    10 X 1000 megabyes = 10000

    10,000 X 4 (GB) = 40,000 pictures

obviously take some pics and see the exact size they are using, obviously if the files on your camera are bigger then you will have less files
