How do taxes help those in need?
I have heard of all these things, and I know that taxes are meant to help people in need. I am writing a case for debate and I am just looking for more examples. I am trying to prove that taxes DO benefit those in need. Thanks.

Around the world the Us taxpayer is providing food, shelter, medical care, retirement accounts for despots and dictators; and, in the US itself we provide free food, medical care, shelter, education, retirement and etc for over 16 million illegal aliens who slipped into this country and pay no taxes. Unfortunate side effect is that the poor US taxpayer doesn't qualify for any of this help and the numbers of taxpayers are being reduced drastically; I worry about who is going to take up the slack and provide all the free stuff when the last taxpayer gasps his last?
