I'm considering going to beauty school as a backup to the major I want to go into. How long would it take to get a basic cosmetology degree? Are there any prerequisites?

I am in Speech and Debate and I found a poem I absolutely love. It is By Sarah Kay, called "Point B" and its about how she would raise and teach her daughter if she would have one. When I recite it, its about 4 minutes long. I need my presentation to be 10 minutes long. Do you know of any poems that would go along with the same theme of children or daughters? Or even life lessons?

My good friend is having a birthday!! She is turning 15 this Saturday, and I want to go all out for her birthday present :D She is a very nice person, the best of the best! She really likes music, classical music, and she likes colorful stuff. I want to give her something unique, for my birthday I got a money tree, I want to do something along those lines, something no one else will think to get her. Any ideas??
