What is the definition of a Christian?
Some people say a true Christian is someone who believes in Christ, while others say it depends on how you believe in the trinity, what do you think?

My defiintion is that xtian is a person who believes in salvation through belief in jesus. I don't think the trinity is necessary for that but I could be wrong.
I have met many xtians who all say those who disagreed with them were not "real xtians". So given what they say, they seem to think that a xtian believes only as they do however it appears to be more that it is "anyone who believes in salvation through belief in jesus" is a xtian

I doubt there is a consensus on a definition, especially as so many Christians want to claim the label just for those who follow their specific take on the religion.
My definition would be - a Christian is anyone who thinks that Jesus had an aspect of divinity that the rest of humanity doesn't have, and that Jesus is in some way important for people's salvation from hell. That seems to me to be the core belief.

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch.
And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves
with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were
called Christians first in Antioch.
To a Christian, learning the bible correctly is very important, 2 Tim.2:

There is no definition. A Christian is whoever he wants to be. Most are just born into their religion and dont bother questioning it, therefore the basic definition of "Christian" in todays world would be anyone who consents to being called such. Its literal definition is the belief in Jesus and the Bible but its reality is a blank page.
