Can a Christian in good conscience support the Occupy Movement?
Considering these verses?
Luk 3:14 ... "And what shall we do?" So he said to them, "Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be content with your wages."
Phl 4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content
Hbr 13:5 [Let your] conduct [be] without covetousness; [be] content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

"be content with your wages"...jobs are sent over seas and out sourced..what wages??
CEO gets a million dollar bonus while 75 people are laid off due to cut backs ,then company applies for a government bail out and/or files for bankruptcy and the CEO gets another million dollar bonus.
"in whatever state I am, to be content"....homeless, living in a car or a box, looking for a soup kitchen or a good dumpster.
What of the money changers around the temple that made the House of G-d into a den of thieves??
Righteous anger to change that which is wrong. Jesus took up a length of rope and drove the money changers out of the temple.
Jesus was a carpenter and build things of strength and durability....he did not make rugs to be walked on... and the 99% are not rugs either.

The verses you have cited refer to intimidation, covetousness, and false accusation. These are all things that we should avoid. It is wrong to put people in fear if they do not do what you want by threatening them in either directly or indirectly. Expressing your opinion is not intimidation but it should be done with politeness, as mush as possible. Injustice and being unfair is not approved of by God. We are told to consider the poor for example. Also that the laborer is worth of his hire (That means just and fair wages) Exploitation is not approved of in the Bible.
The Occupy Movement is against injustice, corruption, and the bad economy. God is against injustice. The demonstrators though need to be less provocative, as creating disruption is not in the interest of their case and tend to discredit it.

Christians are commanded to pray for their leaders and for God to intervene in His time to change any ungodly path that they are pursuing: “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity” (1 Timothy 2:1–2).

""Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely,"
There are no false accusations when it comes to this movement. Corporations are given far too much leeway in terms of taxes. If you think that there isn't anything wrong with the fact that a large corporation pays less taxes than an average American citizen, then you sir/madam are delusional.
Also, the issue is not one of contentment. People are not asking for a raise in salaries, they simply want the corporations to give their fair share.

I don't support it for many reasons. The unions/ democratic party are behind them is my first reason.

to be honest i think you are too worried about your religion, do what you truly believe in, god wont punish you for it. the only thing he wants is for you to have a relationship with him.

i don't know any Christians who support it.
