Does President Obama speak any foreign language?

Yes he and Michele both can fluently speak, read and write in Mandarin, just like any of us who were educated in Oceania country. As usual the US media will all repeatably mention it, when he attends a summit in Indonesia after next week.

You would think Americans would be educationally very fluent in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish. Being neighbors with Mexico, and with so many Spanish speaking persons in the United States. It's ironic how many Americans can understand what Cheetah the chimpanzee in the Tarzan films is saying, yet not able to speak in a neighboring foreign language.

Languages Obama Speaks

A number of our Presidents have had various levels of proficiency at language. Thomas Jefferson was fluent in French. G. Washington spoke some French but not fluently. Teddy Roosevelt, Spanish. I would have to research the others.
