I'm a girl and I like the direct approach. No hinting around, just say "Hey, wanna go grab some coffee sometime?"
It's to the point, yet still casual.

I don't like it when guys beat around the bush. If you want to talk to her over a cup of coffee, tell her that. Just say "Hey, I really want to see you right now. Let's meet?" If she's even just a little bit into you, she'll say yes. I get so excited when guys say things like that to me. It shows that they aren't really that shy.
