What do you think of Evangeline and Philippine?
These are 2 names I have always loved, and I am definitely using them, as first or middle names for future children. I don't think they are too matchy especially with different nicknames, so what do you think?
I would call Evangeline (E-van-juh-leen) Annie, or Lena
I would call Philippine (rhymes with Evangeline) Pippa
What nicknames do you suggest, and overall thoughts?
And, I am aware Philippine is a country, but it is a French name, and I know people with this name, so please do not comment on that factor.
Pippa is a nickname for Philippa, but i detest this name, and it seems to royal family to me. I love the name Philippine, so if you don't agree with the use of the nickname Pippa what nickname would you use for Philippine?

Both are great names, and they are not too much alike to use as siblings.

I really love Evangeline, and the nicknames that it comes with. I however, cannot think of the name Philippine without thinking of the country itself, and I don't like it much either. It also reminds me of Philip, which is very masculine.
