Who has experience with different calibers failing or succeding to stop a BG?

I have read that the .380 auto is usually the most common. Excluding .22 and other tiny calibers such as .25 auto and .32ACP the smaller the round the more self defense situations where shot fired happened the higher the kill ration. But also from that data the smaller the round the more widely used.

So .380 auto will work but I don't personally care for it due ot it being weak and hard as hell to find. You might as well just get 9mm, it's cheaper.

but seriously there are thousands of stories on the internet if u bother to use google.......

** stories of ppl getting shot 10+ times with .40s&w and living.....and others of getting hit with a .22lr from 2 miles away and dieing.....

** i mean seriously there is NO caliber that "guarantees" putting a BG down.......just in general the larger the caliber the better ur chances.....

I know a guy who was shot 4 times in the torso/chest with .45 ACP. 4 shots to stop him. He's still alive, says "it hurt like hell." An unjustified shooting.

The baby browning 25acp is the bestest self defense gun in whole wide world, I carry one shoved up my asss and have never been caught in a stop and frisk. If you don't agree with me I'll throw a tantrum and cry, block you, and report you to yahoo!!
