Has anyone been a nurse in the military?

Where were you? Was it during war time or peace time? What was it like? What requirements did you need to have, especially physical fitness? To what extent did you feel in danger? Do you recommend it?

I'm a medic. To be an a nurse you must:

Graduate from an accredited college or university nursing program with a bachelor of science on nursing, pass the NCLEX and be a US citizen. You only have to be an average shape. Though the military would prefer that you put for a little effort and do some exercising.

I would recommend it. It's a good career and you get to have a mission, not just a job. There's no overtime pay though.
