can you buy alcohol with a foreign id if you are 18?
its a debate with my friend. She says she knows someone whos bought alcohol with a foreign id because its legal to drink in that country when theyre 18. I call shenanigans.

She's wrong. In the United States, you must be 21 to purchase alcohol. It doesn't matter where you're from. It matters where you are.

In other countries, such as Mexico, you can buy if you are 18+ with any country's ID. but in the USA you cannot purchase alcohol regardless where you are from or what your native country's laws are until you are 21.

in case you're 18 and the regulation of the land you're in says 18 , you are able to drink and purchase alcohol legally. Britain does not impose regulations consistent with faith. in spite of the undeniable fact that, there are some arab international places that limit sale of alcohol to muslims.

Well in alberta canada 18 is the legal drinking age lol. But I'd say if your talking the US hear than yeah not true. Maybe they just said it said they were 21 lol.

nope it doesn't matter that they let you drink in a foreign country at 18, if you are in America you have to follow US laws therefore you must be 21. so yeah--shenanigans :)
