My project partner won't do anything?!?

Question

I can't choose another partner. He keeps telling me how busy he is, but I don't think it's true and even if he was, he could still do at least SOME work. The project is in physics and we're supposed to prepare a lab for the class and pay for it by ourselves. I asked him to buy all the stuff since he didn't do anything and again he told me he was busy. This really pisses me off, I did all the work and now I also have to drive to another city to buy stuff for the lab and pay for everything by myself. What should I do?! I'm in high school btw

Do the project yourself. I've been in this situation many times :P its hard to avoid, but once you present the project your partner won't know anything about it and your teacher will recognize that you did all the work. If anything, try to get him to give you half the cost. It doesn't take much time to get a few bucks from your parents or stop by the bank. Tell him, that if he is too busy, you will get everything as long as he pays half the cost. Ask him why he is busy! If he can't come up with any real excuses then you can call him on it. Then you can smack him again :D

Just get money from him to buy all your materials or if he doesn't give you money tell him that you'll tell your teacher that he didn't help and he'll fail Physics. Much like Blackmailing.
