when i download an mp3 i dont steal, because the person who put it online still has it. its called sharing

no, i never claimed the songs are sung by me or written by me or whatever.
also, artists dont give a **** about mp3 downloading. they get most of their money from concerts

It most certainly is stealing. The creators of that music deserve to make money from it. If you download their songs illegally, they get NO money.
But as someone else has already said, there are many startup bands who choose to give away their songs for free, in order to gain publicity. You should be able to find plenty of legitimately free music to listen to.

It's legal right now if the artist doesn't claim copyright. There are thousands of free downloads available on the web put there by groups trying to get a fan base so they can begin charging.

good day i've been utilizing kptunes to down load song for my ipod. first i down load my favourite song onto my laptop and while i consider i've sufficient song downloaded then i attach an ipod by way of usb cable which got here with it and the excellent factor i could say that kptunes gave me the wrong way round to switch song to an ipod with out utilizing an itunes which i relatively like. they have got the biggest community and largest song assortment. each time i attach an ipod with my laptop that program respect the ipod routinely. kptunes is the excellent situation i could say and you're going to by no means ever capture any virus.
