How come it's called toilet paper, was it meant for wiping toilets?

    Nope, for all uses in the toilet as defined as the room and not the device. What you wipe is up to you.

    my gf asked me once when she was going to the toilet if i needed anything, and i think it's related to the toilet paper thing.

    toilet is an old french word for bathroom. it was meant for paper that was used there
