Why am I not losing weight?

I have been running 2 miles a day and eating 2 chicken caesar salads a day for nearly 3 months and I haven't lost a pound. Previously, I would eat around 2500-3000 calories daily and I would not exercise at all. The only success I have had in weight loss has happened when I starved myself, eating one unbalanced meal a day. I managed to lose 20 lbs in 3 months by hardly eating, 3 years ago. It was very unhealthy because I had protein in my urine as a result. I don't understand what is going on. I'm 22 years old, 5'9", 170 lbs. I'm looking to lose 25-30 lbs. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Make sure that you know how much calories those salads are. Also you need to eat more. 2 chicken caesar salads isn't enough. You should eat 4 - 6 small meals a day.

Try doing 3 miles and some excercises like pilates, crunches, etc.

Honestly I think you need to eat more. When you eat smaller portions throughout the day, it keeps your metabolism going and as a result you burn more. Id start out with a healthy breakfast like oatmeal, or a smoothie, or egg whites on wheat toast ect. Then throughout the rest of the day eat five more small portioned healthy meals. Hope this helped.
