same game different copy with receipt?
I bought a game two days ago, opened it up and started playing it. I always keep my receipts no matter what. Today, my mom came home with the same game, because she wanted to surprise me. After telling her I already got the game, she told me she didn't have the receipt. So my issue is, I have a sealed game with a receipt of that game, but a different copy of it. Can I take this anywhere (the receipt is walmart) and get a refund so my mother can get her money back or since its a different bar code, will it be an issue?

i think you can do this. depends where she bought. if she bought it at walmart then it wont be a problem. i think its okay. if its sealed and not opened. then yea. refund it! =D if she bought it at walmart the nthe reciept should work there also. its like when you buy cloths at walmart and can return it at any walmart with the reciept so go ahead and do it. and if it dosent work then well. it dosen't work.

Try it, but carry the used one hidden away or something. I don't think it should be a big problem if its still sealed though.

nicely you are able to certainly attempt. as long because it is not obtrusive that it replaced into offered at a diverse shop, besides the undeniable fact that, they may well be waiting to test it and notice if it replaced into from Gamestop or no longer. it could no longer harm to objective can it?
