War makes money only for a select few - not the whole country. The country actually ends up paying, and i don't mean the Govt. either. Taxpayers money ends up in the coffers of the elite war-profiteers.

Well it used to make the elite of america rich in the stock market. 2 weeks before 911 George Bush Sr. and Jr sunk all their money into arms manufacturing stock even tho not a single war was going on in earth anywhere. America USED to make all the guns, ships, bullets, down to the boots our troops wore to fight these wars, tanks, humvee's etc. How would they know 2 weeks before 911 the stock they bought for a penny would sky rocket 2 weeks later? Well they won't tell us of course, same way George Bushwacker knew to hide in an elementary school in Florida, far far away from the Pentagon. Now china makes all that stuff and our country makes nearly none of it. So how is china making America rich with war? First of all, George Bushwacker signed the free trade agreement with China, which made a loss of 5 trillion a year for the US in import taxes no longer charged. Since shipping became so much cheaper as a result, every company in america got up and moved to china. this is true of Greece, German, England etc. since the agreement was ordered to be signed by the UN and we all kiss the UN's big toe cuz they own us and actually rule this country and nearly all countries. Not quite all. However the kick backs into the crooked politicians hands from the under the table deals for sending them every job left in america is massive. the stock market in Arms deals goes thru the roof and they all get rich forward and backward. So what's your question? Thats how it works and always has. Only in the past when we made the arms it gave americans jobs. Now the only thing we make are the troops that go over and get killed, not for the sake of a war, but so our government can get richer and thats why wars like afghanistan and viet nam and the future war already planned with Iran will go on an on forever, and years and years of bloodshed of troops and civilians, all for the sake of a buck. Thats what OWS is now fighting. The puppet masters that control the worlds stock market, which gives only to the rich at the expense of our very lives.

Think of all the things which have to be supplied for a war. Food, clothing, munitions, fuel, vehicles, salaries, morale boosters, communication devices, replacements for everything, medical supplies, and on and on and on. There is money to be made on the upside and downside of war. Think in terms of production and distribution and loads of things that most people in the civilian population would not think of. And you can also consider financial reasons sometimes as to why some wars begin in the first place.

the creation of weapons is a huge industry. Many of Man's great discoveries were offshoots of the business of war, and mankind has discovered it to be so in the early world wars.

Take for instance the aviation industry and how they evolved for the reasons that they were developed during and for the future warfare. We all benefited from the numerous engineers who kept on designing aircraft after aircraft for speed, agility, distance, etc.
