Basically I always had to wait until he went to sleep to play those kinds of games. My advice: Become a night owl, get some headphones as well so you don't wake anyone. dont listen to the ps3 fanboy, my ps3 YLOD and my 360 is going strong, yeah, it costs money for live, but worth it, ps3 network is average, get one off craigslist for like $70 or you can sometimes get a slim for less then 150

Look around in dumpsters, people are slowing realizing they are a hunk of crap and throwing them out. You're better off getting a Wii than a crapbox 360
