My 9 month old slides/crawls backwards, anyone else's baby do this?

Yes this is normal. They don't always crawl. Sometimes they skip crawling and go straight to walking. Sometimes they roll to get from one place to another. Its ok. They all end up walking in the end and get into things they shouldn't. ;)

My daughter would lay on her back and push herself backwards, she never did that while on her belly...or all 4's..She is 8 months now and is fully crawling, and sitting herself up....

My daughter went backwards for a couple weeks before she went forward. She was always backing herself under the kitchen table.
