Is there an after market fuel gauge available for a Suzuki GS500?

Have you ever seen one installed on a GS500?

Specifically no.There are aftermarket gauges available but they are poor design and don't work very good.Your best bet is the tried and true eyeball method.

It's not just about having the gauge. Without installing a fuel level measuring device (some kinda float system) inside the tank the gauge is useless. I'm sure installing such a thing inside the tank is doable but it's probably a pain.

Get a wooden dowel rod mark off 7 inches for full tank mark. then mark 3.5 inches for a half tank. then mark off 1.75 inches below the 3.5 inch mark for quarter tank and 1.75 inch below the 7 inch mark for your three quarter tank mark should look something like this. [7---1.75---3.5---1.75---0]

    [F----3/4----1/2----1/4----E]
