Do you think people switch parties to fit in?

Do you think people flip flop on which party they are so they cannot seem like part of the Bad Guy at the time?

depends how long you are stuck in that situation

and how strongly you hold your political opinions

by friend acted liberal in college for 5 years (or at least not blatantly conservative)

if you are trying to meet new people, it is best not to introduce a point of difference

if you don't need to make friends there (can go home, only there for a short time

    then it doesn't really matter

if you think the other side of the abortion debate is evil, you probably don't want to be friends though

friends are a major human need (belonging, community, appearance)

[consider the closet homosexual religious and political conservatives]

    have a nice day

Only independents switch parties to fit in.

They wait till there is a majority and then follow the crowd.

The overwhelming majority of Democrats and Republicans stick to their party no matter what.

The rule is if you get a governmet check you vote for democrats
