Most you've ever spent on an Album?

I once spent a little over $250 for an original vinyl copy of Black Sabbath's Master of Reality. It's an original copy of the 1971 UK release, not the American pressing, not a rerelease, it's the original vinyl release. Worth every penny. Now I just need to save up my money so I can get a quality record player so I can play it!

$30 for a cd of The Beatles, White album. It's a great album but when you grew up in the 70s it's a little hard thinking of how the price gets jacked up on everything so I'm thinking the price was a little steep just for a 2 disc cd. Not saying the music was bad, just the price. I haven't spent that much on music since then.

I spent $50 on Tal Wilkenfeld's CD cause, well, I really actually don't know why it was so expensive but I ordered it and I guess they didn't make many copies. But anyways she's a great jazz bassist and I thought I'd like the album more than I actually did.

BQ:I don't think it was worth that much money. It has some great songs on it, but like half of them I really like and the other half I could do without.

£ 20 for a Three Days Grace limited edition self titled album with bonus dvd plus P&P I ordered from America i collected limited or special Edition albums so i don't care how much these types of albums cost because their worth the money you get so much more than a regular album

$40 for Levon Helm's American Son on vinyl. I only paid that much even because at the time it was really hard to find. It wasn't released on CD and records were hard to come by...heck, the one I got was a promotional copy anyway. And you know what...a month after I bought it, they released it on CD! lol shew

$ 80 for Dum Spiro Spero (2011) by Dir en grey. It was the special edition CD and it came with double LP, signed poster and T-shirt.

It was totally worth it.

Arch enemy limited deluxe edition at the concert for 20 bucks. Then I got signed bybeveryone in the band. **** ya it was worth it.
