Do Florida residents get the rest of the year free if they pay for one day at Seaworld?

The title says enough but for more details:

I have an all year pass to Seaworld because a friend gave it to me. I have a different friend that is going to Seaworld with me soon but he doesn't want to pay $80 for just one day. We live in Florida and someone told me that Florida residents get an all year pass as long as they pay for one day at the park. Is this true?

Looks like it...my dad used to have a "Fun Card" which is a year's admission for FL residents, and they have it on their website. It's the same price as a one-day ticket, you can't beat that. :)

it used to be that way but I don't know if it's still that way. also you had to tell them when you bought your ticket you wanted the year pass or the next time you went there the ticket would not be valid. learned that the hard way.
