Help, I don't know whether I should give my best guy friend this or not?
Long story short I have this guy friend who I'm pretty close with and work with and because of that everyone thinks we like each other which isn't the case and we've both talked about that not to mention he doesn't show any signs of flirting nor do I towards him so I know we're just friends which I'm happy with. It's his birthday on the 14th and tomorrow I will see him and I bought him a 25 dollar gift card to a liquor store for his birthday(he'll be turning 20) do you think he'll think of it as something else? We've only in the last year become closer so that's why I'm nervous he'll get the wrong idea by the small gift haha

I think that's a great gift! Haha, give it to him jokingly as if to say, "If you need any help with spending this, gimme a call." If it's pretty obvious that you two are friends then I wouldn't worry about it

I don't know where you live, but in the US he wouldn't even be able to spend that giftcard because you have to be 21 to drink. Otherwise it doesn't sound like a bad idea-- unless there's the possibility that he doesn't drink at all!

nah, i think it's perfectly fine.
you can say "let me know about all the fun times you have with this" or something so he won't think something else!
