If atheism isn't a religion,?
why do so many atheists waste time in the religion forum?
They say too, "Atheism is a religion, like not collecting stamps is a hobby."
Right, I don't collect stamps, but I don't troll the stamp collectors forum, insulting their interest, screaming at them that "stamps" are nothing but worthless little bits of paper and ink, that they are idiots to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars buying a single one, and that in any case, there is really no such thing as a "post office," and that letters get from house to house by perfectly natural means, without any mythical "post office" or "mailman."
Come to think of it, why don't you guys do that too -- the ones that don't collect stamps? Why are you so obsessed with other peoples' faith? Some deep-rooted insecurity? I've heard some people say that someone who bashes gays is really afraid he's gay himself. Is it something like that? Are you deiphobic? Are you guys afraid that if you stop sneering you might find you actually believe in something?

Why are you so ignorant of what an atheist is?!
More to the point if you do not know what an atheist is why are you so intolerant, hate filled, bigoted and persecuting towards them?!
ATHEIST - someone who does not believe in a God – any God – not just the Christian one. But that does not mean they do not hold strong moral or religious beliefs! They can follow any religion that does not have a god and there are a lot of those!
Like BUDDHISM – Religious teaching from Buddha and his followers that by destroying greed, hatred and delusion (the cause of all suffering) man can attain perfect enlightenment!
Why so blind to what causes the backlash against christianity?
ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD christians which causes all GOOD christians to despair at the damage they do!
Up until about 40 years back Christianity was thriving and there was no conflict with others but in just those few short years the modern christians have become intolerant, hate filled, bigoted and persecuting resulting in a growing backlash against christianity and causing christianity to loose over ten percent in less than a decade with the loss accelerating!
The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!
Posts like yours that drive people further away from God are driving you towards hell.
So who are you working for the devil or the antichrist because it sure ain't the loving god!

Atheism, is a religion. Atheists are just in a continual denial period. Lack( utter deliberate refusal) of self discovery, and many other discoveries, is just a natural part of being an atheist. They wil never admit that atheism emulates almost if not absolutely everything that has ever been bad about religion in all recorded history. Deliberate ignorance, is the atheists ever worshiped god to which they bow down too in their endless textbook narcissistic ego(they think "they are smart and everyone else is stupid". They say so all the time, themselves.) every waking moment. They are even deliberately cruel to other atheists I've seen on here, that have gotten tired of it, and have told them how rotten they are to other people so often.
Its no wonder why the U.S population is over 80% Christian, and atheism is of such a small, pointless, useless, minority, that has not true power of influence in the world, but to be a mere annoyance to everyone else. No one is ever given any good positive reason to listen to them. I think they are funny, at least in a 3 stooges like kind of way. I like atheists, though. If they ever stop thinking everyone else in the world stinks, because they go through their entire lives with their head up their own butt, they can become wonderful believers. I love atheists, the challenging achievement is the most valued prize to the most skilled of athletes. The harder the achievement, the more valuable the prize. When atheist actually do genuinely think, they can even possibly actually at least start to become as smart as they think they are.

Why do you state Atheism isn't a religion?
Any religion has "believers" no matter what it is, those believers follow beliefs, and are of equal stature.
Atheists follow their beliefs, therefore by implication are believers, and therefore by definition theirs is also religion as equal to any other, not following a God is not for anyone to say its not a religion, even if they don't like it or more commonly do not understand it.
Atheists do not waste their time in the religious forum, they have an equal right as any other, The forum is for all religious subscribers, and all have equal rights as any other religious subscriber.
I really hope that the question is not implying Christians have the right to say what is a religion what is not, and this is somehow their page, I but know that is not the view of "Christians", or mine.

Who pronounced Atheism is a faith? Atheism isn't a faith. Come properly...''Atheists are the adult males and ladies who have not got self belief something without suitable data''. Who frightened approximately them or their concern or their standards? First, there isn't any atheists right here in india. Atheists are greater in christianity, and in the western international places. There are as many motives for being an atheist as there are atheists: the line to atheism has a tendency to be very own and individual, based upon the centred circumstances of a character’s existence, stories, and attitudes. notwithstanding, that's a danger to describe some typical similarities which tend to be usual between extremely in straight forward terms some atheists, distinctly atheists in the West. that's a astonishing question; regrettably, it isn’t relatively straight forward to respond to. Many atheists locate their approach to disbelief by way of technology. Over the centuries technology has come to recent motives of sides of our word that have been as quickly as the unusual element of religion. since medical motives have been greater effective than non secular or theistic motives, the flair of religion to call for allegiance has weakened. for this reason, some persons have come to fully reject now not only faith, yet additionally concept in the existence of a god. For them, gods are ineffective as an reason for any functionality of the universe and furnish not something worth investigating. have you ever ever heard of 'clever atheists'? that's a classification utilized by some non secular theists to describe each and one and all of those theists who technically experience in a god, besides the undeniable fact that who behave immorally. the perception is that ethical habit follows right away from real theism, subsequently immoral behavior is a very outcome of now not surely believing. Theists who behave immorally have have been given to extremely be atheists, even with what they think approximately.

If religion was something that was practiced in households and places of worship only; if those that still believe some sort of deity would keep those ideas to themselves, then atheists would probably not care to spend the time here seeing what the religious types are up to.
However, religion has become like a sickness in culture, spilling out to the point that it now infests politics and has too great an influence on financial, social and educational policies. As it has been said, "all it takes for evil to win is for a good man to do nothing." If atheists were to simply ignore this forum and ignore what religion is doing to this country, socially and politically, then we would be as guilty as the good man who does nothing.
I choose to come here because I keep my finger on the pulse of what is going on out in the world that may come to influence my family and my way of life. This place can be a sort of "grassroots indicator" of what the general meme of thought is amongst the population. If I choose to answer a question, it will be to do so in order to inform and educate and to correct the misconceptions of others.
I also find the discourse here, in a forum designed to encourage questions and debate, much less invasive than having some religious zealot show up at my door to tell me how my beliefs, or lack thereof, are wrong and will condemn me to some otherworldly torture pit for eternity and then refuse to politely leave even when asked to do so. Religions have had control of the bully pulpit for thousands of years; it is now funny to see how individuals such as yourself chafe at the fact that atheists, and any who disagree with your beliefs, are expressing the same rights that you have enjoyed. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Stamp collectors don't tend to let their hobby influence their thoughts on public policy, and try to enforce their beliefs agaisnt others.
Religious people (Christians and Muslims especially) do. Regularly.
Notice how we don't generally rag on Buddhists, despite them being every bit as illogical as Christians are? It's because they generally keep their religion out of everyone else's business.
Look at it from our perspective. We see people who hold a belief in a magical creator figure without evidence and despite evidence to the contrary, and they attempt to force us to abide by the imaginary rules set down by this figure. Furthermore, unlike other subjects, it is taboo to hold a politician's (or really, any religious person's) feet to the fire on the topic of their religion, so we don't even have an opportunity to enter into a rational discourse about these topics.
So, we make every effort we can to eliminate this taboo, so that we can (ideally) one day discuss these issues openly in the public discourse, instead of privately and on anonymous internet forums.

On the other hand, stamp collectors hardly ever come pounding on your door at dinnertime. Come to think of it, they hardly ever tell non-collectors that they will suffer eternal torture because they don't collect stamps.
Moreover, I can't remember the last time stamp collectors spent tens of millions of dollars to deny equal rights to those who only like the same kind of stamps.
So...in short, atheists come to these forums precisely because religious people try so regularly to insert their peculiar beliefs into the laws of the land and to force the rest of us to live by their moral ideas. When your liberty and the equal rights of others are at stake, you should get active and involved and try to answer ignorance and bigotry wherever it rears its head.

Do stamp collectors have a significant affect on your society? Do they influence laws in your society? Do they fill radio waves with ranting and raving claims that you will be tortured relentlessly for failing to collect stamps properly? Does your money say "In stamps we trust" on it? Do you know of any stamp collecting clubs responsible for terrorist attacks or for a thousand years of no scientific progress (dark ages)?Do you really think your "comparison" is fair or even the least bit valid? I don't.

Stamp collectors don't come to our homes to preach stamp collecting at us. Stamp collectors don't lobby political parties and the government to get their hobby made mandatory on the rest of us. Stamp collectors don't start wars, or tank the economy.
Oh, and you don't have to swear an oath to stamp collecting to testify in a court...
So, you're a willful idiot. I can live with that.
