Most laser cutters and welders are pulsed CO2 lasers with massive power supplies behind them. A whole different ballgame.....

you could extremely blind your self or somebody else. imagine about it, it is adequate to soften a pit contained in the back of the aluminum cd label. do not seem straight away at it or perchance a meditated image of it. I took a laser protection engineering officer route at edwards afb. and realized how risky they're many times. they purely are rated at a secure aspect for shopper use even as they're in the housing of the cd participant the position you'll not see it in action. many human beings have already suffered eye harm fantastically with the blue leds which positioned out more beneficial power. the damage and tear is instant and under no circumstances reversible and also you'd be in charge for every person else that receives harm. i know it is amazingly tempting, I truly have 2 defunct disc gamers on the shelf in the back of me yet thanks too my protection education compliments of the AF. i know more beneficial than to take them aside and play with them. they have a very narrow spectrum and would not be good for a visual spectrum laser in spite of everything. Be secure. Bye.
