Car X gets 28 miles to the gallon. That's a direct proportion where the number of gallons of gasoline used is directly proportional to the number of miles driven (on average, of course). (1/28) gal/mi is the constant of variation:
[gallons used] = (1/28 gal/mi) * [miles driven]
Water has a density of 1 gram per cubic centimeter (1 g/cc). The mass of a volume of water is directly proportional to its volume:
[mass of water] = (1 g/cc) * [volume of water]
The circumference of a circle is pi times the diameter of the circle.
[circumference of circle] = π * [diameter of circle]
Any formula where:
[one variable] = (constant) * [another variable]
and (constant) is a fixed NONZERO number, is a direct proportion.

hiya, I even have the examination too ! :P Are you doing linear or modular? i'm doing linear. oftentimes the non calc matters tend to be shape, perspective theorems, regular type, harder indicies, hcf and lcm. etc . something you do no longer desire a calc for. additionally vectors oftentimes comes on the non-calc. Trigonometry and decrease upperbounds, would be unable to keep in mind all , yet i think of you get
