Should I call CPS on this woman?
One of my facebook friends who I've gone to school with since elementary school has a baby and she smokes pot. She is 20 years old and shouldn't be parenting. She is constantly writing PUBLICLY on her facebook about how she smokes pot all the time and the people that don't are a bunch of stuck up c*nts (nice language for a mother, I know). There is one picture on her facebook of her getting high and I'm not positive, but it looks like the child is in the background. I have a mutual friend at college that claims that the girl smokes pot in front of her child. I'm extremely concerned for the child...This girl always talks about getting high several times a week on facebook, and she also airs out her business about her fighting with her husband and all of their craziness. Should I call CPS? Before anybody says that I'm "destroying her family," I ask that you realize that CPS is not meant to be punitive; it is meant to help families. They do not just automatically take your child away for no reason. I kind of feel guilty for not doing anything, but I'm not sure it's my place/the severity of the problem. Thank you in advance!

I would have called already. Print the evidence from Facebook and present it to them on a silver platter.

You can try, but CPS will get you involved. Just pray she does not know who called in on her. CPS is funny, they go out and if nothing is going on at that time or the child is ok, they might not do anything. I would keep calling. She sounds nuts.
