can you enter a amazon gift card with out having a credit card?

im thinking about getting a amazon account but i don't like giving my credit card can i just buy a gift card or prepaid card and use that

    yes, you just redeem the gift card and your item is shipped to you without a credit card. Ive done this several times

    How will you get the amazon card :) Really though your CC is the safest best way to spend online 100% anti fraud protection.
