Is intel core i3 370m better than the quad core amd a8 processor for laptops?

Update:

This is for 2 laptops on black friday. Both are HP. The i3 is at Radioshack for 349.99 and the quad core a8 is at Best Buy for $429.99. So which one is better?

    Get the amd a8 because they're actually an apu so basically they have a small graphics card in the CPUwhich is great for laptops since you usually can't add more video memory

    4 cores are always better then 2

    quad core is better because the cores allow it to be future-proof
