Why can't there be female pastors?

Why are we asking the same old questions about silly themes like this? The Bible has spoken clearly that God has never ordained a female as a Pastor. I've chosen to place the article back up on my site just for clarification. I shall never affirm female preachers ever. The article defines it. The question should always be, what does the bible say. We have lost our minds people. Listen to me brothers and sisters, stop discussing issues with the intention of changing what the Bible has already spoken on. Is it clear to you? Well take the time and read this article. Then make a sure statement just as God would about the issue. No Female Pastors! No! No! No! Never! Never! Never! Does this offend you, guess who does not care about how you feel. Get a life in God and all of your problems will dissipate. Do not remain a constipated Christian, stopped up with the lies of church people that know not God.

- Pastor John Coleman.

Do you agree with him? If so, why do you believe the Bible says no female pastors?

I never heard of that guy but this is what the Bible says:

"34 Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church.

36 Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? 37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord." -1 Corinthians 14:34-37

"11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression." -1 Timothy 2:11-14

1Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

    as also saith the law

Paul LIED the "Law" gives examples of women preachers, prophets and teachers both in and out of the congregation.

Devorah was a Prophet, a Judge of Israel, Judges were the precursor to the Sanhedrin, she taught men and women, She also was a general of the Israeli army, so lead men

Huldah taught men and women in the Temple, it was she, not the priests who was asked to verify the Torah Scroll

Sarah was a greater prophet than Avrahom, taught men and women,

Yael, Rivak and other women also taught men and women inside and outside of the congregation.

Had Paul been a Pharisee he would have known this, and would not have lied. So now we have caught Paul lying at least twice. You say Paul got his information from his god, who did NOT know the Hebrew Bible, and was NOT the G*D of the Hebrew Bible. So Paul's god was a liar. Since this pastor follows the liar Paul and his lying god, where does that leave him and you ?

With all due respect, I call your attention to Revelations 12:4

For several centuries, it was sincerely believed that the words on the page meant what they said.

One-third of all visible stars will be knocked from the sky, and land upon the surface of the Earth.

But, after scientists discovered that every visible star is many times the size of Earth, those who want us to believe the Biblle is true, changed the teaching and now insist that it does not refer to actual stars, and never did.

Is it your sincere opinion that the people who taught that the Bible says STARS, so it must mean stars, are all in Hell for teaching a wrong interpreatation of Scripture?

It would seem that, if one passage can be re-interpreted after facts prove it to be an impossibility, so can any other.

God may have never ordained female as pastors but one thing to keep in mind > the many servants of God in the Bible including Mary who raised Jesus....Elizabeth who raised John the Baptist, Ruth, and Phoebee who delivered alot of Paul's letters to the Church...and we cannot forget the Wife of Moses...if it was not for her intervention the Lord would have killed Moses...you will find that in the Book of Exodus.....There are many women who played important roles in the Bible....including the two women who supported Jesus and his Ministry proclaiming the coming Kingdom of God....Mary Magdelene...........

In Christ, men and women are equal (Galatians 3:28). Both female and male believers in Christ are kings and priests unto God (Revelation 1:6) and God calls Christian women and men to ALL offices of ministry within the Church. Under the Old Covenant however, God chose only men to act as priests but this doesn’t mean men are closer to God or better than women. The role of priest was given to men just as the role of mother was given to women.

In 1 Timothy 2:12, the author said that he (not God) forbade women to teach men. In the Bible we see that God called many women to be leaders and teachers of men, women and children: prophets (Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Isaiah’s wife, Philipp’s four daughters), military leader and judge (Deborah), disciples (Mary, Martha, Joanna, Mary Magdalene, Susanna, and “many more”), deacon (Priscilla), and church leader (Lydia).

In the Church, God calls many Christian women to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors (or “shepherds”) and teachers of men, women and children.

Adam was created before Eve but he was not superior to Eve in any way. Eve was deceived (1 Timothy 2:14), they both sinned and Romans 5:12 says that it was through Adam that sin entered the world.

The husband is given by God the role and responsibility of being the head of the home (1 Corinthians 11:3). What this means is that he represents his descendants (see Hebrews 7:8-10) and is required to provide (necessities and protection) for his family (1 Timothy 5:8). Husbands are not to be dictators or have the upper hand over their wives and wives are not to be subservient to their husbands. The husband isn’t responsible for teaching the wife anything but both parents are required to love, teach and bring up their children in the discipline of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6, 29:15-17; Titus 2:4; Ephesians 6:4).

Ephesians 5:22 instructs wives to submit to their husbands, however, the verse before says that ALL Christians (both male and female) should equally submit themselves to one another:

    Ephesians 5:21

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Both husband and wife must respectfully submit to each other. Neither is to be subservient to the other.

Husbands are to love their wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it (Ephesians 5:25).

If the husband isn’t loving and righteous, the wife should not submit to him because as Christians, we are to obey God and not men.

On 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, it is understood that men should also stay silent while the preacher whether female or male is preaching, and if they missed or didn’t understand something, they should wait until later to ask their wives or a fellow brother or sister in Christ or do their own study. The main lesson is to not interrupt the service.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

The truth about Jesus Christ can be found only in the Holy Bible. Three days after the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead (Luke 24:1-8; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven (Acts 1:3; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11).

Without God, the spiritual part of the human being is dead (Ephesians 2:5, Colossians 2:13). The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) caused the separation between God and man. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin causes us to be separated from God which results in spiritual death. Christ, the 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead was made flesh (through the immaculate conception) and paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross so we could through faith in Christ as our Saviour be instantly redeemed and united to God and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who teaches us, comforts us and grants us fruits to live in righteousness and gifts to help and edify the Church. There is no redemption or unity to God apart from receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Saviour and Lord.

    REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.

If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:

"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood. Come into my heart. I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior. Amen"
