Hi, Anyone and Everyone come to Yahoo! Answers when they don't find a answer to their question on Google, Yahoo, etc. I am sure you will get the answer you want of most of your questions. Yahoo! Answers is a place for writing (typing/submitting) questions whose answer you don't on Google. For some people Yahoo! Answers is a pastime also. Thanks and remember to vote this answer as the best answer.

Yahoo Answers and Google are two separate entities. Google is a search engine and has answers only if you seek it specifically. In Yahoo Answers is a question of sharing with a person who know something more than you. You cannot call it a pastime nor do you derive any monetary benefit, but certainly you gain some happiness and satisfaction of sharing that little more you know with the questioner.

I love your question!!
It's a bit of both. Part of this is a community that likes ask questions and get answers from people but there is more to it also. Some questions are looking for personal opinions or alternative perspectives to the asker's own perspective. Sometimes the questions are relatively complicated to find answers to on Google - such as "What is the volume of a normal US stick of butter?" - called for in US recipes but hard to substitute when outside of the US and butter is sold differently. (That question has a super funny answer by the way).

ideal answer: I hate to be sure trolls proceed to stress away each and every of the reliable people here , yet I do admit that I understand why all of us is getting bored stiff and washing their hands completely to R&P. i've got heavily cut back down the quantity of time i've got spent here for an identical reason. i are not getting an identical entertainment here as I used to, and it extremely is a shame. For a mutually as we had a great team of people after which the trolls began filtering in and destroyed all of it. i do no longer prefer to offer them the satisfaction of understanding that they are the clarification all of us is leaving, yet we could face it...it extremely is sparkling. perchance you should evaluate transforming into yet another account and start up over sparkling. purely a tenet... i might hate to be sure you pass all mutually for reliable. the two way, better of luck with each and every little thing. you would be neglected a great deal.
