HP laserjet 5550 dtn, black and white images printed in "colour" mode have green hue.?
I've got a HP 5550 A3 laser jet and I print my designs on T Shirt transfer paper. Recently when I try to print out Black and White photos in grayscale as usual, there is always a problem with vertical lines. When I print out the same design in "colour" I don't get the vertical lines but it comes out a dark greenish hue. I've changed the black cartridge but both problems are still happening. What settings should I use to print out a B&W photo in colour mode in CMYK colour? (so I end up with a B&W photo with no green hue)

Have you tried looking at your T-Shirts in artificial and daylight? If changes from green to black under different lights then you have a retameration problem. The only way to fix this is to either add magenta into the print and use the colour setting to make it less green or to only use the black toner by using your grayscale option.
With regard to the lines, when was the last time you changed the drum? This is usually the main cause of the lines.
The transfer paper is thicker than normal paper and it will show lines more than normal paper. You could try running a few sheets through with a solid black and see if you can clear it.

You may have clogged cartridges
First step is to see will if it print a test page
Go to Start, settings, printers. Right click on the printer, properties, print test page.
If that doesn't work there should be a head cleaning option in properties that will make it clean the print heads.
If there is still nothing after that then either it’s badly clogged, low or out of ink, and needs to be replaced
