Remove grease/oil stain from knit shirt.?
I have a cotton knit shirt with a food grease stain. I usually wash this one in cold water, might have to try warm next. But I've washed it multiple times using spray and wash. Also several times sponging alcohol on it, letting it air dry, then washing.
The stain is fading but still there after multiple washes. Any other remedies out there?
Just washed them after the dawn treatment. They are air drying, fingers crossed....

Try dawn dish soap! That stuff works great! Just put a small amount on spot n rub it with a warm wash cloth! It usually works very good! N then wash it like u usually would in the washer.

Treat the spot with dish washing soap and hot water. Don't put soap directly on the shirt, mix it with hot water and work it on the stain. Then throw it in the wash as usual.
