    In Boolean Algebra A*A = A.

So multiplying out the brackets we obtain A + A.Binverted

A is a common factor which can be placed ouside a bracket to give

    A(1 + Binverted)

    In Boolean Algebra 1 + anything = 1

Thus our expression now becomes A.1 = A
