I can't get any spark on my 84 Chevy S10 4X4 (V6, 2.8L)?
I can't get my S10 to start. It turns over, but I don't have any spark. I replaced the ignition coil and module so I know that both of them are good, but I cannot get any spark from the coil. What is wrong?

Have you checked for a blown ignition fuse? Have you checked your coil's 12 volt power wire for voltage?
If all of that is good, then next place would be pickup coil/stator inside of the dist.

Most likely the pick-up windings are bad. They are inside the distributor, under the rotor. It sends the light voltage to the module, which in turn amplifies that voltage into what the coil can use to fire. You can change it, but most people buy a rebuilt distributor instead.

spark coming into the coil but not going out into the distributor? check the wire coming from the coil to the distributor. did you get the wires on right on the coil? the wire from the distributor goes on the - post on the coil and the ignition wire goes on the + post.

They weren't nicely truthfully worth the value they asked for them style new, the transmissions have been infamous for front pump failure on a number of mid ninety's style Blazers. in case you do restoration it you will in no way get your a refund EVER! sell it as is or junk it and get a greater cutting-edge greater effective motor vehicle.
