How do I get the turkey to brown?

So, I like to put my turkey in the electric roaster, but the skin doesn't get brown and crisp like it does in the oven. Is there anyway to do it?

    not in the roaster

    many people cook it in the roaster, then TRANSFER it to the oven at the end to brown.
