would this look ok for prom?
So my prom is in June, and I know its a bit early but I need a bit of advice.
So first of all, I have long dark red hair, about to the bottom of my back. I do not want a big puffy neon ball gown, personally I think it would look tacky on me, also I don't want a short dress either.
Love these two dresses..

I think with dress one, I love the colour, however I feel it would clash with my hair, so I was thinking that I could die my hair a chocolate brown, The dress colour is changeable, so I was also thinking I could keep my hair colour and go for a deep red colour in the same dress.
With dress number two my parents don't like the split up the front of the dress, and dont think it is very "school prom".
What do you think?
Many thanks!

Both dresses are suitable, but the second dress is much more detailed and has a better sense of "prom style" than the first one. A slit in a long dress such as that is a very classic look, and is actually fitting for events like prom. If your parents are concerned about the front slit then contact a tailor to get rid of the slit or change the height of it; you'll have enough time since the event isn't until June.

i def like the second dress! I think it will go nice with your hair color! i wouldn't change it!! the slit can also be closed if its up to high for you! just make sure the dress isn't so tight on you, so when you close up the slit, you still have room to sit and dance! getting a dress right now is a smart idea! because you want to get first dibs on dresses!

i love dress two but the split might be a bit much. I would say dress 2 in a diffrent color its grogeous and its doesnt look too sexy but it still looks hot

the second one is way cuter. The split is sexy but subtle and it will look beautiful with your hair color

I really like the 2nd one, and believe you should go with it. The first one reminds me of a bridesmaid dress, but the 2nd one is really beautiful and I know you would look beautiful.
