No Open Source experts here?

Why do you need an expert answer to a egregious question. When you're asking vague questions that do not have a distinct answer you're going to get answers like that.

i.e. "Meshlab or Blender? which is easier 3D program for newbie?", "best open source 3D rendering programs ?"

Blender is not the best compared to Maya and 3ds Max and stuff. If you are a student, you can get a free three year license from Autodesk for them.

But blender has some powerful modern features. Its harder to learn but its actually really fast once you get good at it. Plus, its free and has allot of developers working on it. Why don't you download it and try out some things?

Open source application is freely obtainable alongside with the source code and follows open standards. The code could be peer reviewed and stronger. it is Open source refers to a application/application which could be changed and dispensed by utilising absolutely everyone freely with no need to take absolutely everyone else's permission.Open source could be got here upon with working systems like Linux, application like Open place of work and a few programmable hardware like micro-controllers.

I think you will find that there aren't a lot of people who would fall under the title "expert" here. There are several who are very knowledgeable but there are far more here who are just your average user. I answer lots of questions here but I almost never ask them here. Any questions I would have would normally be beyond the scope of the normal Y!A user.
