(Spoilers) Use for the Elder Scroll after Skyrim Main Quest?

Big spoiler here... so beware.

I finished the main quest and killed Alduin. What do i do with the elder scroll now? I can't drop it. I found out that I can sell it to the mage at Winterhold, but is there a reason I should keep it or do something else?

No reason to keep it, just sell it to the mage unless you want it to decorate your home
