Can anyone give me a remedy for removing mould from cotton fabric?

A very good pillow case belonging to a complete linen set has gotton behind or under something else and has been there for a while and now has mould all over it that won't come off in the wash. Is there some way of getting rid of this naturally without having to use dangerous chemicals.

Get a bucket of hot water. Put in some Tide. Throw the pillow case in. Soak for an hour. Get it out. Scrub scrub scrub. And if that doesn't work, nothing will.

Soak the pillow case in a sink filled with hot water and a cup of vinegar. You can apply the vinegar directly to the stain first and then soak it in water for about 15-20 minutes - leave the sink filled and rinse the pillowcase in another sink and see if the stain has changed - you may need to leave it soaking for a long time in the water. When the water gets cool just drain some of the water, add hot and more vinegar. Vinegar acts as a bleach and kills mold.

You can also try making a paste of vinegar and baking soda and gently rub into the stain and let it sit until the baking soda dries - then wash

And last, hydrogen peroxide also is a bleach - if the cases are white you can try that as well, but dilute it with equal part water
