Why do people bother trolling?

I believe they hate themselves and seek to spread that hate .

sexual deviance? probably not. if it's malicious trolling, that would be classified as deviance to social norms. there are many different kinds of goals when it comes to trolling, so there's not an all-encompassing reason, and the internet is just a medium to satisfy those unmet needs. if i were to fault something in general, i would say bad parenting. hands down. awful, awful parents.

It's a way to grab attention and to have a little fun. Just because you didn't enjoy it doesn't mean others won't. It's all a matter of preference.

If people continuously do it to annoy people then the answer is they just have no lives. ;)
