Mysterious Wet Spots on Bed?
SO my husband and I own our home and have lived here for 1.5 years. There has only been one previous owner and they built the house. The neighborhood is awesome and we have been very happy here. Recently, a strange occurrence has happened.
Last Wednesday nights, my husband and I went to bed around 11:30pm. At 12:15am my husband was awoke abruptly by a nightmare he had that a group of people were drowning him. We sat up for a few minutes, he calmed down, we went to go back to sleep, then noticed that there was a strange soaking wet spot on the sheet off to the side of the bed down by where his feet are.
We inspected the spot, it was 4 inches in diameter, was clear, had a somewhat slimy texture, and no odor.
We quickly determined it was not urine, sweat, or any other liquid that might have been in our bedroom. When pulling the sheet up off the bed, the mattress pad and mattress were not wet at all. There were no ceiling leaks, and no reason we can find to explain this spot of liquid. We ended up going back to bed that evening, the spot dried up, left no residue or any evidence.
Last night (Friday), I came into the bedroom and was straightening out the sheets and fluffing the pillows and I saw another spot. This time I found the spot, it was the same size as the previous one, but this time it was on the side of the bed about halfway between the foot of the bed and the head. Again, it was clear, the mattress was not wet under the sheet, and we hadn’t even been in the room prior to that. Again, no explainable reason for the wetness. We decided to go to bed anyways after exploring it.
Around 12:15am my husband woke up to the feeling that something was touching his forehead and left arm. Again we settled down and went back to sleep and nothing else happened. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? We are not sleeping well and this is sooooo weird!!!!!
PS - This is VERY hard to talk about because it is so strange...please be serious when responding. We have never experienced anything like this and, to say the least, have been skeptical that this is a ghost....but it is definitely weird!
OK....silly answers, people who are just plain out rude, and then there are those that are mocking, judgmental...BUT...to those of you who actually are trying to help, I really appreciate it.
BTW...My husband isn't just trying to scare me, I am not really scared, just really weirded out. We do not own any cats, my neighbors are cool, and there are no leaks in the house anywhere that we can find. This is just unexplainable.

0cala_gem I recently encountered the same situation. My encounters were both on the left side of the bed. The first time was at my girlfriend's house, and I didn't think much about it because she has dogs. However, the second time got my attention because I was by myself and away from home. The wet spot was similar to your description: slimy texture and did not penetrate the bed sheet.
Please let me know if you have a valid answer to your question.
I know most of these people are thinking it's a joke, but I'm experiencing the same problem and I neither believe in ghost nor higher power.
Thanks,

This just happened to me too, in the same place you mentioned. It was by the foot of the bed, on the left side (as you're laying in bed). At first it looked like it may have been caused by excessive leg sweat, but I felt my legs and they were dry. No leaks from the ceiling, and I live alone. I noticed it when I got up to go to the bathroom at about 1 am. There were no other signs of any moisture on me, the bed, or around the bed. I can't figure it out.

You may be dripping water onto your bed without realizing it. Like drips because you just brushed your teeth, washed your hands, washed your face. Sweet. Something you were carrying had water on it. It would only take a very small amount of water. Example: you set something down on the bathroom counter, it got a little water on the bottom from splashes by the sink, you carry it into the bedroom and it drips on the bed. It could be a simple as a magazine, tissue box, etc. Or your night clothes got slightly wet.
If it continues check more for leaks.

I hope l can answer your question. About 3 years ago me and my partner moved into an old house and he had dreams that he was swimming in a lake and a woman came to him and tried to push him under he woke up and the bed was wet all over. he wasnt swaeting and had not peeed. We were weirded out and my friend recommended us to a ghost whisperer. at first i thought it was stupid but then i was desperate and wanted anything that would help. the ghost whisperer told us that there was a woman that used to live in the house who drowned in the pool and we contacted the old owners and they told us that their wfe and mother had drowned. the ghost whisperer got rid of the ghost abnd everything disappeared we still live in the house and are now happilly married with a baby girl.

Your husband is obviously trying to scare you. You could also set up a camera like on paranormal activity so you can figure out what is happening and then you will be able to deal with whatever it is. It does sound scary and I completely understand why you would want people to take it seriously. Whatever is happening I'm sure you will be fine.

Are u sure tht u dont have any Rats/Mice in ur house?
cus rats does roam about in our beds when we are sleepin...
wet out beds, "same volume of Rat/Mice pee " i guess for the same "texture of spot"...
And yes if u spray a lill volume of water on ur bed-sheet .. ur matress remains dry...
i had some in my room... the are creepy...
things falling off the racks.. wet spots.. and yes when they go by ur hands .. you do have a touching feel...
and they are masters of Sprinting!! the moment its here the next its gone...
and the black color gives them a nice camouflage ....
hope it helps :)

I have had a lot of paranormal experiences, but I haven't heard of anything like this situation before. I have had ghosts pulling the covers off of me, and have seen several ghosts face to face, and physically touched some.
To me your situation is a UFO abduction. They can have a persons body in two places at once. The wet spot is evidence that it is not a dream. Ask your husband if he was ever abducted by UFOs in the past.
What to do? I have know ideal. I would just let it happen, ignore it. It is a situation that you can't fight.
